Senior Associate, Investor Outreach and Engagement

Neeti is responsible for investor outreach and supporting regional implementation of projects in Asia.

In the past, she has worked in the government sector, multinational corporations, and non-profits. During her time as a Consultant for the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare in India, she helped devise strategies to address the country’s food safety and micronutrient malnutrition challenges. Prior to joining AIGCC, Neeti worked as an Associate at Synergos, a global non-profit organisation and managed collaborative action projects for global philanthropists in climate and environment.

Neeti is an Information Science engineer and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Management Practice & Leadership. She is fluent in English, Hindi, Kannada, and Marathi.

Climate Action 100+ has published its 2024 Progress Update. Despite unprecedented geopolitical shifts, 80% of companies have committed to disclosing their climate related risks and opportunities in line with the TCFD recommendations. 90% of companies continue to show that they are putting board members in charge of overseeing climate risk management.

Climate Action 100+ Progress Update 2023

Overall, while there is much more to do, the last year saw continued progress against the initiative’s three goals with 77% of focus companies now committing to net zero vs. 2022 across at least Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 93% having Board committee oversight of climate change risks and opportunities, and 90% of focus companies explicitly committing to aligning their disclosures with the TCFD recommendations.
