AIGCC, Nissay Asset Management and Fukuoka Prefecture is holding a site visit to Fukuoka/Kitakyushu to better understand Japan’s decarbonisation strategies
Audience: Asset Owners, Asset Managers
With growing interest in using hydrogen as a carrier of energy and green hydrogen as a climate solution to certain sectors, this site visit is intended to help investors better understand the current state of play in Japan.
The day’s schedule include dialogue with academia on fuel cell research and a visit to the hydrogen station. By better understanding the current hydrogen production and supply chain opportunities and challenges, the agenda is complemented with a visit to the offshore wind energy project in the Kitakyushu region to build the case for renewable energy in the region.
