AIGCC 2025 Year in Review: Building Climate Resilience Through Investor Action
15 April 2026
AIGCC has published its 2025 Year in Review, highlighting key outcomes from the year in a series of case studies across our work.
Through the past 12 months, AIGCC has continued to support institutional investors across Asia as they navigate evolving climate policies, deepen engagement with decision-makers in key markets, and advance the region’s climate transition. Asia’s investors have shown resilience and perseverance in integrating climate factors. For example:
- More Asset Owners have joined AIGCC and now comprise 23% of our members (including observers).
- AIGCC members have made year-on-year progress across most key climate metrics
- Investor stewardship and engagement have driven more ambitious and transparent climate commitments from companies in high-emitting sectors, such as energy, transport, and steel.
- We have established ourselves as an important source of information on how capital is allocated and how policy and regulatory settings can enable private investment to support government objectives.
Through ongoing collaboration, AIGCC remains committed to empowering investors and policymakers to drive meaningful impact, ensuring Asia remains at the forefront of the global climate transition. We embrace our vision to have thriving Asian economies that align to science-based net zero pathways and are climate resilient and nature positive.
