Manager, Stewardship & Corporate Engagement

Cosmo is based in Hong Kong, and manages engagement for Climate Action 100+ including the coordination of engagements on AIGCC’s focus companies in Asia under the initiative.

Prior to joining AIGCC, Cosmo was a Senior Consultant in EY, Climate Change and Sustainability Services in Hong Kong and has advised clients on sustainability management, especially on climate risk governance and management.

Cosmo holds a Bachelor of Social Science in Geography and Resource Management at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.

Climate Action 100+ Progress Update 2023

Overall, while there is much more to do, the last year saw continued progress against the initiative’s three goals with 77% of focus companies now committing to net zero vs. 2022 across at least Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 93% having Board committee oversight of climate change risks and opportunities, and 90% of focus companies explicitly committing to aligning their disclosures with the TCFD recommendations.

全体として、やるべきことはまだたくさんあり ますが、昨年は本イニシアチブの 3 つの目標 に向けて継続的な進捗が見られました。具体 的には、少なくともスコープ 1 および 2 の排 出量全体をネットゼロにすると約束する対象 企業の割合が前年比増の 77%、気候変動の リスクと機会について取締役会委員会が監督 している対象企業の割合が 93%、TCFD 提 言に沿った情報開示を明示的に約束する対象 企業の割合が 90% になりました。
