Submission to Hong Kong SAR 2024 Policy Address Public Consultation

AIGCC welcomes the Chief Executive’s focus on scaling up Hong Kong SAR’s capability in coping with extreme weather events that are intensifying due to climate change in the 2023 Policy Address. Building on some of the recommendations made in this regard, we propose that this year’s Policy Address emphasise on the need for a systemic response that enables more coordination and collaboration among the different stakeholders (communities, businesses and financial institutions) and government on understanding and responding to risks and building resilience.

背景：在2022年11月中国证监会制定并印发《推动提高上市公司质量三年行动方案（2022-2025）》之后一年多后，2024年2月8日，中国三大证券交易所（沪深北交易所）同时发布《上市公司监管指引可持续发展报告（试行）（征求意见稿）》，旨在规范上市公司与可持续相关的披露，并为上市公司考虑与可持续相关的绩效和影响提供指导。亚洲投资者气候变化联盟很高兴看到中国在新年伊始在此方面迈出了至关重要的一步，也在意见征询截止日期之前及时提交了反馈建议，藉以协力推动完善中国可持续发展相关披露工作。
