Jeffrey Tong

Policy Analyst

Jeffrey is currently a policy analyst with the Policy team at AIGCC in Singapore. In his capacity, Jeffrey supports the implementation of AIGCC’s regional and international policy agenda and coordinates stakeholder engagements with financial regulators and policymakers across Asia.

Prior to joining AIGCC, Jeffrey was a climate risk consultant at Intensel, an Asia-based climate risk analytics company, where he advised clients across sectors including asset management, real estate and consulting on the understanding of climate science, integration of risk metrics and alignment with disclosure requirements. He has also coordinated strategic engagements and facilitated the growth and commercialisation of emerging climate innovations in the philanthropic arm of global investment firm Temasek.

Jeffrey brings a background in sustainability research and policy analysis, having produced and contributed to thought leadership reports on climate risk and peer-reviewed environmental policy research. He holds a MSc in Regional and Urban Planning from the London School of Economics and a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Yale-NUS College.
