Chaitra is responsible for leading the Just Transition Working Group at AIGCC. She is based in Mumbai. Chaitra is responsible for leading the Just Transition Working Group at AIGCC. She is based in Mumbai. In 2025, Chaitra was appointed as a member of the Regional Council (Asia-Pacific), Taskforce on Inequality and Social-related Financial Disclosures (TISD).

Chaitra has more than 10 years of diverse experience working in sustainable finance across consulting, and the capital markets. Prior to joining AIGCC, she worked with technical and management environmental consulting, advisory firms such as Arcadis, KPMG, Trucost S&P Global. She has also led responsible investment functions, both, on the sell-side and in asset management at Axis Capital and DSP Asset Managers respectively. She has established a strong foundation in climate risk analysis focusing on both corporates and financial institutions. She is passionate in facilitating the development of sustainable investments in Asia and has contributed to thought leadership in climate finance through publications in leading outlets.

Chaitra has completed a Master’s in Environmental Sciences, a Diploma in Environmental Law and an undergraduate degree in Biotechnology.
