Over 80 Participants Attend Workshop on Climate Action Plans, co-organised by AIGCC and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC)
AIGCC collaborated with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Thailand (SEC) to organise a virtual workshop on 22 March for over 80 investors on developing clear, comprehensive, and measurable climate action plans. Investors’ climate action plans are crucial for Thailand to achieve its goal of net zero emissions by 2065. Watch a replay of the virtual workshop here.
We also thank Cathay Financial Holdings and Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Asset Management for sharing their experiences and invaluable insights on developing effective investor climate action plans.
Over the past year, AIGCC has supported the SEC Thailand in its climate action efforts, with our work being incorporated in its Guidelines for Climate Risk Management.
We look forward to further collaboration in accelerating Thailand’s progress towards a net zero future. AIGCC will continue to facilitate similar forums and encourage investor peer-to-peer dialogues to share perspectives on climate and net zero investing approaches and challenges, and ultimately to identify multi-stakeholder collaboration opportunities in their net zero journey.
